Local entrepreneurs, their personal stories, street food, culinary snacks, hospitality and conviviality… A journey that takes you off the beaten path along small food entrepreneurs with their inspiring craft and stories.
The tastings vary from sweet to savory and symbolize the district or the city. With the help of the web app, let yourself be guided through the mapped out food route and the accompanying flavours and stories.
With Food ‘n Route you will notice how nice it is to be surprised. That at the end of the afternoon you wonder where the time has gone. A food tour without a guide, with only your own partner, family, friend (s) or colleague (s). A pleasant opportunity to celebrate, just catch up, really get to know the city or just to get inspired. In short, a wonderful voyage of discovery that you must experience once.

How it works?
Food ‘n Route is a self-guided food tour. We have cycling and walking routes. Via an web app you get access to the route, the locations and the background stories. Food and drink tastings are included.
1. Choose a city and route
Choose in which city you want to do Food 'n Route and choose the route of your choice.
2. Pick a day and time
The routes are available several days a week. A limited number of places are available per starting time.
3. Book online
We only accept bookings online. You can book via the 'Book now' button on the city page.
4. Receive info
In the booking email you will find a link to the online tour description. We also inform the locations that you are coming.
5. Start your Food 'n Route
On y va! Report at the first location at the starting time and enjoy the route and the tastings.
Frequently Asked Questions
All visits are announced, so the locations know you are coming.
Notify the location of any allergies and food restrictions upon arrival. We will try to keep these into account, but can’t guarentee this.
The routes are only available during the day. For each route we indicate until what time you can do the route.
Enough to replace a lunch.
At the locations, you may be asked for proof of vaccination or a recent negative test result, using the CoronaCheck app or any other valid (international) record.
